Student Ministry

In August of 2005 the East Gadsden Baptist Church called Allen Hudson to serve as Minister of Music and Youth. God has in this short time blessed the youth and music ministry in a wonderful way. The youth choir (New Commandment) is very active and sings each and every Sunday in the evening service. They also do at least two musicals a year and a major choir tour every summer. They are constantly learning new music and sings in many different venues all the time. While the youth are very busy singing for the Lord, they are also very active in the other areas of youth activities.

The youth have a wonderful, ongoing ministry to the Hanna Home (a home for abused mothers and their children). Retreats are a big part of the youth ministry. The 2008 Summer Choir Tour to the Grand Canyon was a great success. The 2009 Summer Choir Tour is scheduled for June 13 - 20 at Seagrove Beach Florida.
